Kevin's soul left this earth on September 14, 2026 after a short and heartbreaking battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Kosloski Olsen, and his three children, Kyle Olsen, Monica Olsen and Timothy Olsen.

He spent his final days at home enjoying visits with extended family and friends, eventually taking his final breaths surrounded by his immediate family.

Born December 26, 1951 in Springfield, PA to Mary Schuyler Olsen and Edwin Olsen. Throughout his life, he often reminisced about his childhood summers spent at Camp Gregory in Maine alongside his beloved big brother, Bill Olsen.

Kevin went on to graduate from Temple University in 1973. After meeting his future bride, Terry, they left the Philadelphia area for a quieter life in Lancaster county where they initially kept a farm with goats, sheep and Kevin's favorite sheepdog, Bud.

Terry and Kevin got married in 1984 and spent a total of 51 years together.

A proud blue-collar worker, Kevin spent most of his life setting tile and enjoyed admiring intricate tile work on his travels. He was a hard worker, whether it was at a job or at home in his house and garden, and never failed to provide.

As a devoted father, his favorite times were spent with his family. He loved hiking and camping and road trips. He loved visiting his children as they moved across the country and even across world, visiting Thailand TWICE, a big deal for a man who loved the quiet life.

Kevin especially loved exploring the Rocky Mountains and his ashes will eventually be spread there, in a particular requested spot with views of a peaceful river valley.

We will miss his steady presence and his generous spirit. We are eternally grateful to have had him in our lives. May he be happy and free.
