Susan J. Tracey

Susan J. Tracey passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on September 2, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on July 26, 1942, in Reading, Susan was a daughter of the late Paul & Leah Moyer, and the long-time companion of George Kohler.

Susan was a graduate of the ELCO High School Class of 1962. She led a fulfilling life as a housekeeper, where she took great pride in being her own boss throughout her career. Throughout her years, Susan was recognized for her "spicy" personality. Outgoing and tough, she had an honesty that endeared her to many. Susan loved to enjoy life and was known for her ability to have a good time, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her passion for life was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends. Susan cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, particularly her beloved grandchildren. Camping trips by the water at McVeytown filled her heart with happiness and allowed her to create lasting memories with her family. Susan's remarkable spirit and unwavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her children, Lora (Mike) White of Denver and Theresa (Terry) Sweigart; and five grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Alexandria, Amanda, and Blake. Susan is predeceased by her brother, Eugene P. Moyer & sister, Ardell Cooper.
