Terry L. Spoo, 54, of Bowmansville, passed away on April 20, 2025, at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Born on September 5, 1970, in Ephrata, he was a son to the late Patricia A. Bender and his stepfather, Bradley Sheaffer.
Terry devoted over 25 years to his career as a lineman at the Bachman company until the plant's closure. He later worked as a forklift driver for Sharp Shopper Inc. for five years. Outside of his professional life, Terry was known for his unwavering love for his family. His family meant everything to him. He took great joy in bonding with his nephews and great-nephews. Terry loved his time on camping trips, exciting vacations with his sister, and joyful days spent playing hockey. He will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and who demonstrated unwavering love and support to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of fond memories and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Terry is survived by two sisters, Robin Boyer (Ken) of Ephrata and Kandi Kelley (Larry Mayer Jr.) of Bowmansville. four nephews, Paul Boyer, Michael Spoo, Dwayne Boyer, and Justin Spoo, as well as his four great-nephews and a great-niece; grandfather, Troy Bender; and by many extended family members. Along with his mother and stepfather, Terry was predeceased by his brother, Earl Spoo, and his nephew Steven Spoo.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 28th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 7:00 PM. All services will take place at the Gravenor Sipler Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 100 W. Main Street, Ephrata, PA 17522.
