Warren Birchall

Warren H. Birchall, age 89, formerly of Reamstown, died Friday, September 14, 2012, at Brethren Village , Neffsville, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Philadelphia , a son of the late Roy and Catherine (Freis) Birchall, he was the husband of Nora M. (Nave) Birchall for 60 years on February 14th. A graduate of Northeast High School , Philadelphia , he was a Marine Corps corporal during World War II and retired as a corporal in 1982 after 33 years with the PA State Police, Bowmansville Turnpike Barracks. Warren was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church , Denver , and the Fraternal Order of Police. He was an avid aircraft enthusiast and loved flower gardening. Also surviving is his son, Darle E. (Darla Hackman) Birchall, Akron , PA ; granddaughters, Wendy Masterson and Gwen White; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Alex, Tyler , twins Charlie & Jack, and Lucy. Service Information... A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012, from Noon to 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM in Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, Lancaster County, PA, with Chaplain J. Mark Tedford officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA.
