Remembering Wilda with Love... Wilda M. Beck, 93, formerly of Ephrata Adamstown, died August 8, 2009, in Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center , Narvon. Born in Altoona , a daughter of the late John and Mary ( Frederick ) Faust, she was the wife of Edwin S. Beck, Sr., Narvon, for 73 years. An active member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church , she worked several jobs as a housekeeper. Wilda enjoyed quilting and cherished her family. Also surviving is a daughter, Janet K. (Charles W.) Frantz, Terre Hill; sons, Edwin S. (Mary White) Beck, Jr., Denver ; and Russell L. (Nancy Yohn) Beck, New Holland; daughter-in-law, Jeannette (Stover) Beck, Ephrata; 9 granchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Clara E. Faust, Altoona. She was predeceased by a son, James E. Beck, a grandson, Russell Beck, Jr., and 3 brothers. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 10:00 AM from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , 11 South Muddy Creek Church Road , Denver , PA 17517 , with The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery , Sinking Spring , PA. Viewings will be held Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown and at the church Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Wilda requested that rather than flowers, contributions be sent to her church Memorial Fund or Hospice of Lancaster County, Box 4125 , Lancaster , PA 17604-4125 .
