Remembering "Bill" with Love... William A. "Bill" Hammond, 70, Reinholds, died in Hershey Medical Center , Derry Township, Dauphin County, Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 11:56 AM. Born in Newburg, he was a son of the late Arthur P. Hammond and Geraldine (Clever) Hammond Butkus. An Army veteran, he worked for Service Tire Truck Center, Inc., Bethlehem . Following retirement, he was a devoted driver for Mennonite and Amish families. Surviving: son, Gregory A. (Pamela L. Ream) Hammond, Sr., Reinholds,; step-son, Barry Matz, Ocoee, FL; step-daughters, Shirley Keffer, Leesport; and Sharon Turk, Myerstown; grandchildren, Phillip P. (Jamie Johnson) Hammond, St. Helens; and Gregory A. (Jessica Hirsch) Hammond, Jr., Akron; a great-grandson, Nathan A.. Hammond; brothers, Charles and Peter Butkus, both of Barnesville; and sisters, Joyce "JJ" Steffy, Reinholds; Luetta Joann "Sue" Herring, Lucinda Price, and Ella Matz, all of Barnesville. Viewing Funeral Service... Services will be Wednesday at 4:30 PM in Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with a viewing from 3:00 to 4:30 PM.
