William Jay Oberholtzer

William Jay "Jay Bird" Oberholtzer, age 82, of Adamstown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Monday, February 15, 2016, at 8:20 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a son of the late John B. and Maggie (Lausch) Oberholtzer, he was a Korean War Army Corporal and last worked for T.M.I. Construction. 'Jay Bird' was a life member of Adamstown VFW and enjoyed working and tinkeringon cars. Surviving are his daughters, Ruby L., wife of Bryan Goshert, Carlisle, PA; and Rita L., wife of John Ruoss, Denver, PA;a son, William J., husband of Kathy (Kolling) Oberholtzer, Jr., Zephyrhills, FL; 8 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Raymond L. Oberholtzer; grandson, Raymond Oberholtzer; sister, Thelma Schnader; brothers, Davis, Robert Donald Oberholtzer.
