Marie L. Sipler Price
Owner & Licensed Funeral Director, Supervisor, Certified Cremation Specialist, & Certified Celebrant
Marie is a first-generation funeral director. She did not inherit the funeral homes; she pursued her calling to contribute meaningfully to her community and became a funeral director. Marie is a 2015 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and acquired Good Funeral Home in 2018 and Gravenor Home for Funerals in 2023. She grew up as a 4-H & FFA farm kid in Carroll County, Maryland and attributes her work ethic to her years of milking cows on her family’s former dairy farm in Taneytown. Her undergraduate degree is in Agribusiness, and her former career included over 16 years in agricultural equipment and finance with the brands New Holland and Case IH. Marie lives in Reinholds with her husband, Edward, on a horse farm where they enjoy horseback riding and thoroughbred breeding.

Josie M. Sipler
Licensed Funeral Director Intern
Josie is a 2020 Graduate of Alvernia University, originally following a passion in graphic design and sales. She later felt a calling to join her mother, Marie, at the funeral home to connect with her community and provide love and support for those in need. She joined her mother in 2023, working and continuing education for Mortuary Sciences with Pittsburg Institute of Mortuary Science and graduating in May of 2025 and beginning her official internship to aquire her license in July of 2026. Josie enjoys jumping around from passion to passion, including being a self-taught musician in 10 instruments, and multiple forms of art such as sketching, painting, and digital art.

Steve is a native of Columbia, is a 1972 graduate of the co-operative program
established between the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and the University of Cincinnati. A former resident of Luzerne County, he served the community of Mountain Top for forty years and owned McCune Funeral Home, Inc. Steve and his family relocated to Schaefferstown in 2025.
