Lied, 88, formerly of Reamstown, Lancaster County , died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at 10 AM in Maple Farms Nursing Center , Akron , Lancaster County , where she resided since July 9, 2003. Born November 12, 1917, in Myerstown , Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel O. and Susanna (Martin) Stauffer. Her husband, Melvin Lied, died August 20, 2003. A homemaker, Anna loved sewing, flower and vegetable gardening and attended Reamstown Church of God. Surviving are 2 daughters, Patricia A. Thorne, Downington , PA ; and Carole L., wife of Earl R. Gerhart, Stevens, PA; a son, Terry R., husband of Deborah (Sheets) Lied, Glen Rock, PA; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna M., wife of Harold T. Smith, Ephrata, PA; and a brother, Henry M. Stauffer, Lancaster, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother, Aden M. Stauffer. Viewing Funeral Service... Anna's funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 11:00 AM from the Reamstown Church of God, 57 East Church Street, Reamstown, PA 17567-0293, with The Reverend Arthur T. Karick officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Annex, West Cocalico Township , Lancaster County .
