Franklin F. Miller

Remembering Frank with Love... Franklin F. Miller, Sr., 71, of 39 East Summit Drive , Stevens, formerly of Ephrata, died July 30, 2006, in Maple Farms Nursing Center , Akron . Born November 17, 1934, in West Cocalico Township , he was a son of the late Walter K. and Cordelia H. ( Frederick ) Miller, Sr. He attended Pleasant Retreat School and East Cocalico High School , Reamstown. A plasterer most of his life, he worked for Evan Eberly, Mark Gehr and Nolts over the years. Frank enjoyed fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, having caught a Maryland State record catfish. He also enjoyed woodworking, crafting lawn ornaments for family and friends. Surviving are 3 sons, Frank F. Miller, Jr., fianceacute; of Joyce Garber, East Earl; Mike L. Bollman, fianceacute; of Donna Dietrich, Temple; and Gene A., husband of Courtney (Shultz) Bollman, Mohnton; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Hackman, Ephrata; and Shirley, wife of Terry Rauser, Akron; and a brother, Paul, husband of Scarlett (Brossman) Miller, Richland. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Roy Frederick and Walter Miller, Jr. Viewing Funeral Service... A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, August 2, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at our funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006, at 10:00 AM from our parlors with The Reverend William E. Hoch officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park , East Cocalico Township, PA.
