Rosey J. Herman

Rosey J. Herman, 83, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter to the late Woodrow W. and Gertrude E. (Donmoyer) Herman.

Rosey was a graduate from Ephrata High School. She was employed by Dorma in 1979 and worked there for over 20 years. Rosey also worked at the former Quinlan Pretzel Co. for 8 years. With her outgoing personality, Rosey was able to talk to anyone and made many friends throughout her lifetime. She attended many social events, particularly enjoying carnivals, local festivals, and listening to live bluegrass music. Rosey enjoyed dancing with her friends, shoes shopping, and relaxing with a good book. She held her family close to her heart and cherished spending time with them. Her contagious smile and laughter will be deeply missed.

Rosey is survived by a cousin, Pat Heiter of Ephrata; two nieces, Tammy Kirkpatrick (Shawn) of Ephrata and Honey Jo Herman of Washington. She is predeceased by a brother, Charles E. Herman.

Services will be private. Rosey’s final resting place will be the Lincoln Cemetery in Ephrata.
