Leslie Wartluft

Leslie Wartluft, 66, of Akron, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at WellSpan Ephrata Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of Estrella (Montalvo) Nicotra of Akron, PA, and the late Anthony Nicotra. Married for 17 years, she was the devoted wife to Joseph Wartluft. Leslie grew up in Brooklyn, a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School, class of 1973. Family was Leslie's priority; she loved the years of raising her daughter and creating a loving home. She was a caregiver at heart. Leslie moved to Lancaster County in 2003 to be with her mother and met Joe soon after. Leslie was a loving Christian woman, she led by example, always giving of herself. She attended the New Life Assembly of God in Lancaster. Leslie was a self-taught, talented pianist. She loved music and had a beautiful voice. She had a lot of fun buying and wearing jewelry and was nicknamed Mrs. Got-Rocks by her family when displaying a new piece. Leslie will forever be remembered for her love, deep faith, and genuine concern for others. In addition to her mother and husband, Leslie is survived by a daughter, Alexandria A. Fink, wife of Herb, of Duryea, Pa; a grandson, Joshua Fink; three sisters, Elaine Nicotra, Estrella (Fina) Sciarrino, Lourdes Laivins; and a brother, Michael Montalvo. A viewing will be held on Tues., Dec. 21st from 4 to 6 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens), Pa., where the funeral service will also be held on Wed., Dec. 22nd at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville.
