Youa Y. Chongtua

Remembering Youa with Love... Youa Y. Chongtua, age 56, of Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA, died Friday, September 23, 2011, in Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Xieng Khouang, Laos , a daughter of Chiakee Yang, Nebo , North Carolina, and the late May Hang, she was the wife of Pao Moua Chongtua for 39 years. Youa was a member of Hmong Alliance Church , Leola, PA. She was a nurse in Laos and loved gardening, especially flowers and herbs. Also surviving is a daughter, Xay; sons, Chang Sook, Bong Tong and Lee, all at home; sisters, Soua Chang, Morganton, North Carolina; and Deu Hang, Spartanburg, South Carolina; and brothers, Tou Txakeeyang, Honolulu, Hawaii; Kou Txakeeyang, Hickory, North Carolina; Lang Txkeeyang, Richville, Michigan; True Txakeeyang, Centryville, Virgina; and Mang Txakeeyang, Nebo, North Carolina. Viewings and Services... Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011, beginning at 9:00 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Pastors Chang Nhia Kue and Dao Yang officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA. Viewings will be on Friday, 6-8 PM, Saturday, 9-11 AM 5-8 PM; and Sunday, 5-9 PM.
