Arlene W. Ansel

Arlene W. Ansel, age 85, of East Cocalico Township, Stevens, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 10:17 AM in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Mary, following a brief illness. Born in Vinemont, Berks County, a daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Wenrich) Gelsinger, her husband of 62 years, Kenneth W. Ansel, died February 7, 2012. A caring and passionate woman, Arlene loved cooking and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her sons, Perry (Patricia Werner) Ansel, Denver; and Jeffrey L. (Mary Thompson) Ansel, Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Kopp, Reinholds. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Ann Ansel on December 20, 2012; sister, Ruth Bohn; and brothers, Leroy, Lester, Frank, Robert & Herbert Gelsinger and Ralph Schmeck.
