Audrey Royer

Audrey L. (Frederick) Royer, 67, of Stevens, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. She grew up in the Schoeneck area, the loving daughter of Nancy J. (Hartranft) Frederick of Stevens and the late Roy H. Frederick and for 46 years she was the loving and devoted wife to James L. Royer. Audrey was a graduate of Cocalico High School, class of 1970. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, most recently at Weinhold Nickel & Co. in Ephrata and previously for Huyett & Associates. Audrey enjoyed traveling, especially the family vacations they would take when her children were young. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed talking and reminiscing with friends, family, and classmates. Holiday dinners were always something she looked forward to with her family. Audrey also enjoyed quiet time with a crossword or magazine, a good game of Rummikub at the mountains, and the companionship of her country bichon, Teddy and her granddogs. The highlight of her life was her grandson Dakota, whom she helped raise and enjoyed every second of seeing him grow up. Her spirit and commitment to her family will forever be remembered. In addition to her mother and husband, Audrey is survived by two children, Michael S. Royer husband of Ashlea (Sowers) of Ephrata and Shelly L. Royer, fiance of Harry Muir Jr. of Akron; and a grandson, Dakota Ansel. Viewing: Thursday, July 16th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 N.
