Audrey T. Grill

Audrey T. (Troutman) Grill, 95, formerly of Denver, later resident of Luther Acres Retirement Community in Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024. Born in Denver, Audrey was a daughter of the late Harold & Kathryn (Grimes) Troutman, and the loving wife of Herbert A. Grill for 53 years until his passing in 2013.

Audrey was a graduate of the former Denver High School, class of 1947. She worked as a secretary for Cocalico High School and retired in 1994. She was a member of Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denver. Audrey enjoyed many trips out west with her father as he traveled for his work on the railroad. She happily spent her time at their cabin in Smoketown, sitting at the park, and going to Epting’s store for hotdogs and ice cream. Audrey’s kindness and love of nature will be deeply missed.

Audrey was the adopted aunt and is survived by the families of Theresa Nye, Denise Sensenig, Denver, Edward Van Lee Kalbach, Utah and Donnetta Erskine, Ohio. She is predeceased by her sister, Lillian E. Troutman.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567. Audrey’s final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery in Denver.
