Carol L. Coyle, 61, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Newark, NY, Carol was the oldest of three daughters born to MayBelle R. (Vallier) Heckman and the late Richard H. Heckman and the loving wife to Francis Coyle Jr. for 11 years until his passing in December 2020. Carol grew up in Sodus, NY, a graduate of Sodus Central School, class of 1979. She furthered her education, following her interests in Language and Women's Studies at SUNY Geneseo, where she obtained a bachelor's degree. Carol lived in the Pittsburgh area for over 25 years until recently moving to Sarasota, Florida to be closer to her mother. In Pittsburgh, she was a faithful member of the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church where she volunteered for The Lord's Pantry and sang in the choir. Carol loved the hymns and had sung in church choirs for most of her life. In Sarasota, Carol attended the Trinity United Methodist Church and worked as an office manager for Ardaman & Associates. Carol enjoyed politics and volunteered on different campaigns. Carol and her sisters loved the water, as their dad had. She loved genealogy research, quilting, reading books, gardening, and being near the water where she found peace and felt calm. Most of all, she loved being an Auntie to her nieces and nephews with whom she created special bonds and lasting memories. Christmas cookie baking was a special family tradition that Carol loved. She was vibrant, loving, and independent. Carol led by example, her presence was noticed, her smile was contagious, and her thoughtfulness was unending. In addition to her mother, MayBelle Lebbert, Carol is survived by her stepdaughter, Meghan Coyle; two sisters, Susan Sehnert, wife of Brent, of Sunrise, FL and Barbara Olaewe, wife of Dele of Reading PA; two stepsisters, Mary Elizabeth Blankenberg, wife of Jack, and Susan Ross; a stepbrother, Fred Lebbert; nieces & nephews, Stephanie Sehnert, Amber Sehnert, Oladele J. Olaewe, Ayodele J. Olaewe, husband of Abigail (Catania), and Olukemi Grace Olaewe.
