Leoncio C. Colon, Sr.

Leoncio C. Colon, Sr., age 74, formerly of Leola, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, July 11, 2014, at 7:20 am in Golden Living Center, Lancaster, PA. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Timeteo and Leonoris (Colon) Colon-Correa, his wife, Leila J. (Stillwell) Colon, died February 6, 2013. He was a member of Reamstown Church of God and the Men"s Fellowship of the church, and worked for M. H. Eby, Blue Ball, and earlier for Newcrete, New Holland. Leoncio loved hunting at the cabin in the mountains. Surviving is his son, Leoncio C. "Poppy", Jr., husband of Michelle (Fetter) Colon, Stevens; granddaughters, Cheyenne & Madelyn; brother, Israel C., husband of Louise C. (Good) Colon, Mohnton; & sisters, Amelia, Milca and Rosa Edie Colon, all of Puerto Rico; & Basilisa and Rosa Elva Colon, both Florida. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 11 am from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Rev. Arthur T. Karick officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 am.
