Mae Henly

Mae (Youndt) Henly, 100, of Brecknock Twp, Lancaster Co., passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hickory House, Honey Brook, Pa. She was a daughter of the late Allen B. Frances (Lorah) Youndt and the devoted wife of the late I. Lester Henly. Mae was a sewing machine operator for various sewing factories in the area. She enjoyed making quilts for her family, cooking, and baking. She will always be remembered for her holiday dinners, pumpkin custard and chicken salad. Mae was an avid birdwatcher. She loved all of her little dogs that she had throughout the years. Most of all she liked spending time with her family. Mae is survived by her daughter, Maryann (Thomas) Martin of Cochranville; two grandchildren, Suzanne Martin and Joseph Martin; two great grandchildren, Jonathan Martin and Sara Quigley; two sister, Fern Oberholtzer , of Wellsboro and Grace Hirneisen of Sinking Spring; and her little dog, Max. She is preceded in death by one sister, Edith Weinhold and 9 brothers: Luke, Clarence, Robert, Lester, Ray, Mark, Jim, Bill, Richard Youndt.
