Clarence M. Summers

Remembering Clarence with Love... Clarence M. Summers, 88, of 128 Keener Road , Lititz , PA , died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at Noon in Ephrata Manor where he was a guest for one week. Born July 17, 1918, in New Holland, he was a son of the late Clayton and Mary (Buckwalter) Summers, and was the husband of Alma G. (Wingenroth) Summers for 50 years on June 9th. A true Trucking enthusiast, he was employed for over 50 years with Lester R. Summers, Inc., Ephrata, a firm he and his late brother started. Clarence was a member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, Reamstown, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Barb Summers, and a son, Dale E., husband of Ruth M. (Graziani) Summers, both of Stevens, PA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Esta Carles, a resident of Brethren Village, Neffsville, PA. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2006, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, with his pastor, The Rev. Stephen E. Hollinger, officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , East Cocalico Township , PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
