Doris E. Gehman

Doris E. Gehman, age 87, of Reinholds, Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 4:25 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Mohnton,Berks County, adaughter of the late Albert and Amanda (Miller) Fake, she was married to Gerald D. Gehman for 65 years on February 16th. Doris was a graduate of Mohnton High School, and had worked at Bollman Hat Company and Hope Hosiery, both of Adamstown. She loved sports, especially enjoyed playing basketball in her earlier years and was an avid knitter. Seven siblings predeceased her. Private burial will be in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, with her nephew, Rev. Joel R. Hainley, officiating. Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, assisted Gerald with the arrangements.
