Elizabeth G. "Betty" Ansel

Remembering "Betty" with Love... Elizabeth G. "Betty" Ansel, age 86, of Reamstown, died Monday, October 25, 2010, at 7:05 am in Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fivepointville, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Calvin B. and Nettie (Gerhart) Young, she was the wife of Warren S. Ansel for 64 years. A member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, Reamstown, she enjoyed quilting gardening. Also surviving are children, Timothy (Linda) Ansel, Lancaster; Thomas (Nina) Ansel, West Chester; Diane Fichthorn, companion of Scott Cover, Ephrata; Joanne (Christopher) MacMurray, Dumfries, VA; Terry (Margaret) Ansel, Lancaster; and Ted (Nancy) Ansel, Ephrata; 12 grandchrildren 13 great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by 8 brothers sisters. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 11:00 am from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Reverend M. Craig Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring, Berks County, PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
