James N. Zeller

James N. Zeller, 72, of Stevens, PA, and formerly of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital on Monday, January 30, 2023.

James was born in Lancaster, PA, son of the late Norman C. and Lucille A. (Preis) Zeller. He was the loving husband of Mary E. (Spitler) Zeller. They celebrated 45 years of marriage on August 27, 2022.

James worked as a truck driver for the former James F. Wild Auto Parts of Ephrata, PA. He later was employed at Spring Glenn Fresh Foods in Ephrata, PA and most recently at Maple Farm Nursing Center in Akron, PA.

He was very mechanically inclined and loved to work with his hands. He was interested in anything with an engine and loved local dirt track racing and NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three aunts: Bernice Dodd of Cole City, WV, Ruth Ford of Houston, TX, and Sylvia Hoffman of Myerstown, PA; one uncle, Robert Zeller of Delaware, OH; numerous cousins; and many loving friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by three aunts: Anna Mae Wolf, Betty Light, and Joan Mauser; and five uncles: Curtis, Harry, Warren, John C., and Little Johnnie Zeller.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Lyle Neal will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Wiest Memorial Church, 48 S. King St., Stevens, PA 17578 (parking accessed from Cherry Alley). Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Place of interment will be Memory Gardens, E. Cocalico Twp., PA.
