Mary Ann Zimmerman

Mary Ann Zimmerman, age 82, of Clay Township, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA, went to be with The Lord peacefully on November 23, 2014, in her residence. Born in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Steward F. and Elsie May (Habecker) Huyard, her husband, The Rev. LaMar L. Zimmerman, died October 23, 2008. She was a member of Reinholds United Zion Church and was a longtime Sunday school teacher and pianist. Mary Ann devotedly supported her late husband in his Christian ministries. She last worked at Weaver"s Store, Fivepointville, and had worked at Yorktowne Manufacturing and Dutchmaid, both formerly of Ephrata, PA. Surviving is her daughter, Dorcas A. Zimmerman, Ephrata, and "Priscilla", her cat, who knew her as Big Mommy. A viewing will be held Friday, November 28, from 1-2 PM from Hahnstown United Zion Church, Glenwood Drive, Ephrata, PA 17522, funeral to follow at 2 PM with Revs. Leon Eberly and Tim Bair officiating. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery. Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, is honored to be directing Mary Ann"s services.
