Remembering Ruth with Love... Ruth Ella Rudd, 93, formerly of Croydon, Bucks County , died March 27, 2006, at 5:30 PM in Ephrata Manor, Ephrata, Lancaster County . Born in Bedford , PA , she was a daughter of the late Karl and Margaret (Diehl) Fisher. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Lewis C. Goodwin, and Joseph Rudd and a son, Robert Goodwin. A member of Fountain of Life Church, Burlington , NJ , she attended Abundant Life in Exeter . She was a graduate of the Kensington School of Nursing, Philadelphia , and had been employed as a registered nurse by Jefferson Hospital , Philadephia, for many years. Surviving are 2 daughters, Barbara (Goodwin) Bortz, Jacksonville , FL ; and Carol (Goodwin) Miller, Ephrata , PA ; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation Memorial Service... A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006, at 7:30 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown with Pastor Steve Beal officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 7:30 PM. Inurnment will be handled privately by the family.
