Annie S. Reich

Remembering Annie with Love... Annie S. Reich, 88, formerly of Ephrata, died March 2, 2008, in United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz. Born in East Cocalico Township , a daughter of the late Samuel and Gertie (Snyder) Swartz, her husband, Everett E. Reich, died March 16, 2002. A member of Hahnstown United Zion Church , she was a long-time deaconess and Sunday school teacher and worked at Miller-Hess Shoe Co., Akron . Annie loved flower gardening and crocheting. Surviving is a son, Rev. Marvin E., husband of Debbie E. (Smith) Reich, Lancaster; a daughter, Ruth Ann, wife of Ray M. Halligan, Medford, WI; 16 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Mary Jane Fry, and a grandson, Seth Halligan, sister Ruth McQuate, and brother, Luke Swartz. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be Friday, March 7, 2008, at 11:00 AM in Hahnstown United Zion Church , Glenwood Drive , Ephrata , PA 17522 , with burial in adjoining cemetery. Viewings will be Thursday, 7:00 to 8:30 PM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and at the church Friday 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Kindly omit flowers; contributions may be sent to her church.
