Dorothy Huber

DOROTHY (ZERBE) HUBER, age 97, formerly of Adamstown, passed away Saturday, May 12, at The Gardens at Stevens. She wasadaughter of the late Emerick and Eleanora (Kessler) Zerbe, and the devoted wife of the late Landis F. Huber, who passed in 1983. Dorothy worked as a winder tender at the Bollman Hat Company for 42 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Adamstown. She was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed word puzzles. She loved her family dearly, having a special relationship with each of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchild. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda E. (Lavern L.) Sweigart of Adamstown, her son, John E. (Linda Woods) Huber of Lititz; two grandchildren, Anthony Sweigart and Timothy Sweigart; seven great grandchildren: Heather Lorah Burkey, Krista Lorah Good; Nathan Sweigart; quadruplets: Alinda, Jamie, Thanna, and A.J. Sweigart; a Great Great Grandson, Bryce Burkey; her son-in-law, George (Jeanne) Lorah; her granddaughter-in-law, Cindy K Lorah; and one sister, Ellen N. Kern. Shewas predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Jean Lorah; a grandson, Mark D. Lorah; and thirteen brothers and sisters. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Gardens at Stevens for their loving care of Dorothy over the past 4 years.
