Garry Wenrich

Garry W. Wenrich, 78, of Denver, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 23, 2019 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. He grew up in Reinholds, the son of the late Galen G. & Catherine E. (Heckman) Wenrich. Garry worked in manufacturing, first as a knitter in Denver and then for Safeguard Products, Inc. in New Holland. He was a member of the Muddy Creek Lutheran Church in Denver and volunteered his time as Fire Police for the Adamstown Fire Company. Most mornings, Garry could be found visiting with his buddies outside of Turkey Hill or Weavers Market. He was always interested in the happenings of the community. He enjoyed his Stony Run Village neighborhood and had many friends. Most of all, Garry loved his family, calling each of his children by phone multiple times a day, he was a cornerstone of their lives. Family camping trips to Cocalico Creek & Eagles Peak were a favorite. Garry enjoyed the outdoors and hunting in Sullivan and Clearfield counties. He cherished his role as a grandfather and had a special relationship with each of his grandchildren. Survivors include three children, Gail L. Hall, wife of Clarence ('Pete') of Reinholds, Ryan N. Wenrich, fiance of Danielle Reed, of New Holland, Brad N. Wenrich, husband of Tammy, of Reinholds; six grandchildren, Richard Hall, husband of Victoria, Daniel Hall, husband of Elizabeth, Bradley Hall, husband of Lauren, Cheyenne Wenrich, Sierra Wenrich, Nathan Wenrich; four great grandchildren, Parker Hall, Tanner Hall, Easton Hall, & Aspen Hall; special companion, Mary Jenks of Reamstown; & his devoted dog, DeeDee A viewing will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3 Denver Rd., Denver, Pa 17517 on Wed., Nov. 27th from 9:30 - 10:30 AM where the funeral will begin at 10:30 AM.
