Harald O. Zelt, age 66, Ephrata, Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,died Sunday,July 3, 2016, at 11:13 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Essen, Germany, a son of the late Otto and Theresa (Lohmar) Zelt, he was married 46 years to Janet M. (Williams) Zelt. He drove truck for Roadway Express, Brooklyn, New York, and worked and raced at Maple Grove Raceway. Harald was a soccer enthusiast, as a player, coach and fan. Hecherished his dogs and was a true history buff. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Gregory H., married to Shelly Zelt, East Petersburg, PA; Eric Zelt, Ephrata, PA; grandchildren, Dillon, Laura Reilly; brother, Dieter (Deborah) Zelt, Ashville, North Carolina; and his pet schnauzer, 'Fritz'. His step-father, Willie Sommers and 'Otto', his wire-haired terrier, predeceased him.
