Joan I. Kimball

Joan I. Kimball, age 90, formerly of Rehoboth Beach, DE, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at 8:50 pm in Ephrata Manor, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late Earl Ward and Gladys J. (Rippon) McLeod, she was the wife of Dr. Richard H. Kimball, Ephrata, for 61 years. Joan was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata, and was a professional figure skater with the "Ice Capades". Also surviving is a daughter, Debra A, married to D. Robert Thompson, Ephrata; a son, William Ward Kimball, married to Dennis Grundlock, Provincetown, MA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Ann) McLeod, Toronto, Canada. A private memorial service will be held from Bethany United Church of Christ with inurnment in Bethany Cemetery, Ephrata.
