Kenneth R. Long

Remembering Ken with Love... Kenneth R. Long, 49, of 8 Beechwood Drive , Stevens, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 10, 2007, in the emergency room of Ephrata Community Hospital where he was taken after becoming ill at home. Born in Ephrata, he was a son of Robert R. and Shirley A. (Haldeman) Long, Denver , and was the husband of Kathy A. (Beissel) Long for 22 years. A member of Zion's United Church of Christ, Windsor Castle, Berks County, he was employed for 22 years by MGS Trailers, Denver. Ken graduated in 1976 from Cocalico High School , Denver . He was a drag racing enthusiast, enjoyed assembling model cars, electronics, photography and his cats, BJ and Muffin. Also surviving is a sister, Deborah A., wife of Jeffery Hess, Columbia , PA. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at 10:00 AM with his pastor, The Rev. Randy A. Bond, officiating, in Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM in Zion 's Cemetery of Perry Township, Berks County .
