Constance L. "Connie" Sweigart

Constance L. 'Connie' Sweigart, age 81, formerly of Denver Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at 3 AM in ManorCare Lancaster. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ray E. Hornberger and the late Lila Mae (Gehman) Hornberger Horning Kieffer. Connie was a 1953 East Cocalico High School graduate, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and worked at the former Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver,and Sharp Shopper, Ephrata. She cherished family times, enjoyed attending local carnivals and knitting. Surviving isher daughter, Kathy A., wife of John R. Weinhold, Ephrata, PA; her son, Richard K., husband of Amy Sweigart, Dushore, PA; grandchildren: Chad, Heather, Melissa Richard; 6 great-grandchildren; her sister, Gloria Reider, Lebanon. Hertwin sister, Constantine Hornberger, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, at 11 AM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with Pastor C. Michael Roney officiating. Burial will follow in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.A viewing will be held on Tuesday 10-11 AM. Contributions may be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church, 420 Main St., Denver, PA 17517.
