Daniel Paris, Jr.

Daniel L. Paris, Jr., 69, of Lancaster County, PA, suddenly passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Tower Health Reading Hospital. His passing was due to a valiant battle with a chronic medical condition. He was born to Helen E. (Senft) Paris & Daniel L. Paris, Sr., in York, PA. He is now reunited with the Love of his Life, Cathy L. (Moffitt) Paris, in the presence of God. Daniel L. Paris, Jr graduated from Penn State University and went on to be self-employed. He enjoyed being a loving Father & Husband. He often volunteered as a Coach for Bowmansville Girls' Softball Team, attended wrestling matches to support his son, and often Co-Hosted neighborhood pool parties, sleepovers, bonfires, &" scary storytelling", with his late wife, Cathy L. (Moffitt) Paris. He was a" second father" to many, that fondly remember his kindness! Dan was an avid history enthusiast, enjoyed reading & various genres of music. He had passion for nature & science teaching his children, and grandchildren how to respect God's Creation. Additionally, Dan was a successful handgun competitor, liked to hunt, however, he often preferred sitting in the woods, observing the scenery around him. He is survived by his two children, Tara L. Flitter, wife of Michael, of Gettysburg, PA, and Timothy L. Paris, husband of Jennifer, of Spring City; three grandsons, Joshua L. King (Flitter), Zachary J. King (Flitter), & Anthony Grover Paris; a sister, Diane Allen of York and his favorite cat, Callie. Services will be Private. Held by his Family. A Celebration of Life ceremony is planned for late May 2022. Memorial Contributions, in remembrance of Daniel, may be made by contacting Tara L. Flitter, or Timothy L. Paris.
