Remembering June with Love... E. June Bezler, age 90, of Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA, died May 6, 2011, in Phoebe-Berks Retirement Village , Wernersville, Berks County, PA, following complications from a hip fracture. Born in East Petersburg, Lancaster County , a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Ada K. (Bear) Wilson, her husband Eugene W. "Gene" Bezler, former Adamstown Mayor, died August 13, 2004. A member of St. Paul 's Lutheran Church , Adamstown, June was a 1937 Reading High School graduate and a 1941 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. June was the office nurse for Dr. Michael H. Lauria, Terre Hill, for 24 years, and was supportive of her husband's civic and political activities throughout their marriage. A member of the Adamstown VFW Auxiliary, driver for East Cocalico Meals on Wheels, she was an avid reader and card player. Surviving: son, Timothy W. Bezler, companion of Laura Obrien, Fairfield , CT ; grandson, Dr. Eric M., husband of Dr. Natalie (Zimmerman) Bezler, Boston, MA; sister, E. Jane Wilson, Reading; former daughter-in-law, Judith Bezler, Merrimac, NH, and her son, Mark; and sister-in-law, Anna Mae (Helms) Wilson, Mt. Penn. She was predeceased by a son, Michael, in 2010; a sister, Elsie Rothenberger; and brother, Robert T. Wilson. Memorial Service... Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 11:00 AM from St. Paul 's Lutheran Church , 80 E. Main St. , Adamstown , PA 19501 , with The Rev. Sandra L. Gideon officiating. Private inurnment in Cedar Grove Cemetery , Adamstown. Contributions in her memory may be made to her church (address above).
