Larry L. Hornberger, 72, of Denver, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at The Garden at Stevens. Born in West Reading, Larry was the son of the late Raymond & Elizabeth (Messner) Hornberger. Married in March of 1991, he was the loving husband of Linda R. (Weaver) Hornberger. Larry was a graduate of Cocalico High School and worked at Pendu Manufacturing in Ephrata. In his younger years Larry enjoyed playing in local bands. An avid model train collector, Larry had a vast assortment of unique train cars, engines, and tracks. He enjoyed sharing his love for trains and being involved with the train collector club in Ephrata. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by four stepchildren, Karen Hartman of Denver, Doreen Redcay of Ephrata, Curtis Redcay (companion, Wanda Mumma) of Adamstown, and Tina Smith of Denver; a brother, Kenneth (Ruthann) Hornberger of Denver; two sisters, Sally Wetzel of Reading, and Judy (Steve) Yake of Mt. Vernon, OH; seven step grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren. Larry was predeceased by his sister, Molly McKenzie.
