Remembering Mamie with Love... Mamie Jane Demming, 84, Fairmount Homes - Farm Crest, Ephrata, formerly of Denver , PA, died August 6, 2010, at 5:30 pm in Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Brecknock Township , Lancaster County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Cora (Frankhouser) Demming. A member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church , she worked at Hope Hosiery Mill, Adamstown, PA. Mamie enjoyed gardening, taking walks and was a dedicated caregiver for family members. She is survived by her loving sister, Edith A. Demming, with whom she resided and nieces and nephews. Predeceasing her were sisters, Goldie Sprecher Mary Bowman, and brothers, Howard, John, George and Paul Demming. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, at 10:00 AM from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , 11 South Muddy Creek Road, Denver , PA 17517 , with her pastor, The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz, officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6 to 8 pm from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown.
