Margaret H. Schweitzer

Remembering Margaret with Love... Margaret B. Schweitzer, 93, Reinholds, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 11:35 AM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, following a brief stay. Born in Reading , a daughter of the late Samuel and Edna (Hunter) Borry, she was the widow of Freeland H. Schweitzer who died December 6, 2005. She was a 1935 Shillington High School graduate where she thoroughly enjoyed sports; playing softball and serving as captain of her basketball team. Margaret continued as an avid sports fan throughout her life, later as a spectator of the Phillies, Eagles and other TV broadcasts. Times spent with her husband, Freeland, and friends at Zinn's Park softball games were cherished moments. She was a past president and member of the Adamstown Junior Woman's Club. Surviving are sons, Jack A. (Dorothy A. Sichler) Schweitzer, Cinnaminson , NJ ; and Linwood D. Schweitzer, Sinking Spring; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon Borry, and sister, Arline Eshelman. Graveside Service... Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 AM in Cedar Grove Cemetery , Broad Street, Adamstown, PA 19501.
