Marie A. Mohn, 73, of Lititz, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023, after a courageous and graceful battle with cancer. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late John P. & Jean M. (Raffensperger) Mohn. Marie was a graduate of Cocalico High School, class of 1968 and enjoyed participating with her brother in Christian Endeavor. She grew up going to church at St. Paul's E.C. in Reamstown and later attended Westgate Baptist Church in Lancaster. Deeply rooted in her faith, she believed that God enabled her to help others throughout her life. Marie was a people-person, well organized, and loved serving others. These traits were perfect for her lifetime career role as executive secretary and administrative leader. She worked for the Visiting Nurse Association of Lancaster County for four years, Red Rose Transit for five years, then took the role of Admin. Assistant to the president at Kalas Manufacturing in Denver until 2009. She also had part-time positions at Lanc. Co. Vo-Tech where she was an adult course instructor and a sales associate for the American Tourister Retail Outlet. Marie was devoted to the American Baptist Women's Ministries. She was always reliable, always approachable, and always ready to help. She even spent time as a school crossing guard for Kissel Hill Elementary. She was social and enjoyed her many friends at the Lititz Senior Center and Thursday dances. Marie's outgoing spirit literally soared to great heights as she took hang gliding trips in California. Her faith never failed, even through her final health trials she glorified the Lord who gave her the dear gift of loving others so well. Marie is survived by her loving niece, Bethann Greenawalt (Robert) of Dillsburg; her nephew, Nathan P. Mohn (Jamie) of Lititz; her great nieces & nephews, Emma, Caleb, Eliana, & Jordan; and sister-in-law, Joyce Mohn. Marie was predeceased by her brother, John R.
