Remembering Dorothy with Love... Dorothy O. Lied, 88, formerly of Bowmansville, died Thursday, August 23, 2007, at 10:30 AM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens. Born in Warwick Township , Lancaster County , she was a daughter of the late Isaac W. and Katie (Oberholtzer) Sensenig. Her husband, Alvin G. Leid, died December 16, 1981. A member of Gehman's Mennonite Church , Adamstown, she was active in the church sewing circle, volunteered at the New Holland Re-Uzit Shop and enjoyed embroidering. Dorothy had been employed many years ago by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown. Surviving are 2 daughters, Lorraine , wife of Paul Eugene Martin, Ephrata; and Doloris, wife of Glenn L. Zoll, Reamstown; 4 grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters; and a sister, Kathryn O. Witmer, Bowmansville. A sister, Loretta, and brothers Amos and Isaac, predeceased her. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Gehman's Mennonite Church , Witmer Road , Adamstown, with Rev. Irvin Lee Martin, Rev. Ken Witmer and Rev. Glen Martin officiating. Burial in Bowmansville Mennonite Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, and at the church Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. It was Dorothy's wish that you kindly omit flowers.
