Mary P. Escobar

Mary P. Escobar, 55, of Ephrata, PA, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on Saturday, January 7, 2023 in York, PA.

Mary was born in Burlington, VT and lived in Southern New Jersey before moving to Ephrata twenty years ago. She was employed at Weis Market in Ephrata, PA and managed the Seafood Department.

Mary loved music and especially enjoyed listening to 90’s dance music. She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold and would do anything for her family and friends.

She is survived by five children, Jason, Lauren, David, Victoria, and Deborah, numerous grandchildren, her mother and step-father, Ginny and Alton Tibbals, three sisters, Colleen, Jodi, and Toni, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Joseph T. Horay.

Family and friends are invited to a time of remembrance and sharing on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, 100 W. Main St., Ephrata, PA 17522.
