Richard H. Imhoff, 85, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at Keystone Villa of Ephrata. Richard was born in 1939, in Ephrata, to the late Richard & Elva (Wike) Imhoff, and was the loving husband to the late Donna Mae (Adams) Imhoff.
An Ephrata High School graduate, Richard pursued the career of steel fabrication and welding for 43 years, working diligently until his retirement for Aggregates. A loving husband for an astounding 66 years, Richard shared his life with his late wife, Donna. Together, they cultivated a deep bond that resonated within their family, enjoying activities together like camping and traveling. Richard was a lifetime member of Hope United Methodist Church in Ephrata, where he fostered long-lasting friendships and connections over the years. Additionally, he was a member of the Cobbs Hollow Hunting Club, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow members who shared his passions. Richard was well-known as a jack of all trades, embodying a personality that was both loving and supportive. He had a thirst for knowledge, particularly about history, with a special interest in the Civil War and World War II. Richard’s memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, a man whose spirit and love for family will forever be cherished.
Richard is survived by their three children: Cindy Bartsch, Scott (Audrey) Imhoff, and Terry Imhoff; five grandchildren, Danielle Zaun, Paul Bartsch, Allen Imhoff, Wyatt Imhoff, and Colton Imhoff, as well as eight great-grandchildren: Hadley, Macy, Emalyn, Emett, Eliza, Owen, Edith, and Aspen; and his brother, Wilbur Imhoff of Georgia. Along with his wife, Richard is predeceased by a son-in-law, Scott Bartsch.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 12th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at Hope United Methodist Church, located at 3474 Rothsville Road, Ephrata, PA.
